On October 1st, 2014, he relocated to Lagos from Enugu after suffering a devastating business failure that left him frustrated, depressed, sick, flat, broke, and suicidal. Faced with life's harsh realities, he refused to stay down. Rather, he picked himself back up and from the debris of his failure, built one of Africa's fastest-growing companies. Chinonso Ogbogu is the CEO of Sabi Holdings - an investment holding company, with portfolio investments in Africa's growing creative sector. He is the Founder/CEO of Sabi Writers, Africa's leading and award-winning writing solution company. Listed among the Top 100 Fastest Growing SME in Nigeria by Business Day, Sabi Writers currently serves over 1000 clients across Africa and beyond. A company he built with zero external funding from his small bedroom, to currently occupying three massive apartments in Lagos and serving clients across Africa and beyond. He was named the Global Alumni of the Year by ENACTUS World at the 2024 global competition held in Astana, Kazakhstan. He is the founder of Microstart - a private equity company focused on investing and buying boring businesses in Africa. In 2025, he received a Business Leadership Award (BLA) from JPI International. He is the founder of Sabi Writers Studios and currently sits on the Advisory Boards of two growing companies. He is an executive graduate of the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS) and a lifetime member of the Lagos Business School Alumni Association (LBSAA). He is the lead investor in BookSpider - the fast-growing publishing division of Sabi Holdings. He is the lead investor Sisi Manager, an admin solution company, and Musk, a creative design agency, both of which are portfolio investments of Sabi Holdings. He is the founder of Chinonso Ogbogu Enterprises - a company that delivers top-rated training solutions to executives and their businesses. When he is not busy running his businesses or leading his amazing team, he loves to teach and listen to country music. He is happily married and blessed with a beautiful daughter.
